Aviation Photographer Gabriel De Cadiz shared the amazing story in his personal Facebook account.
According to him, first the first time in aviation history, a Boeing 777 landed in RPMD(Davao) that President Duterte would use to fly in New Zealand and Peru to attend the 24th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit where he expected to meet other leaders.

Going down in Davao aviation history: First time for a Boeing 777 to land in RPMD. Here we have the newest aircraft of @flypal, RP-C7778 as PR2. The said aircraft will be used by President Duterte to fly to Auckland, New Zealand then Lima, Peru for the 2016 APEC Summit as flight PR1.
