Alleged Visayan Drug Lord Kerwin Espinosa revealed the reason why he leaves the Philippines together with his family.
During the press conference in Camp Crame, Espinosa said that he leaves the country because he saw that President Duterte really wants to destroy illegal drugs in the Philippines.
He also believes that President Duterte was really genuine in bringing change in the Philippines.
“Kaya ako umalis sa bansa dahil nakikita ko yung totoong tao na naging isang ama sa sambayanang Pilipino na ginagawa yung pagbabago lalo na sa droga.” Espinosa said.
Espinosa admitted that he’s afraid for his family safety, that’s why he decided to hid in different countries to leave the drug business.
“Lumayas ako hindi para layasan ang problema, lumayas ako para maprotektahan ang pamilya ko, ang mga anak ko.” Kerwin Espinosa told the media.
He apologized to President Duterte and he promised that will reveal all the information that he knows about the illegal drug trade in the Philippines.
“Humihingi ako ng tawad sa ating presidente sa mga nagawa ko noon at sana bigyan niya ko ng pagkakataon na magbagong buhay.”
