The swimsuit presentation is just one of the many preliminary rounds that the candidates will participate in prior to the coronation night.

Many of them dazzled the audience and the judges alike with the swimsuits made by Yamamay.

Miss Philippines representative Maxine Medina kept it simple and opted for a shimmering silver swimwear to flaunt her body. She kept her hair in a ponytail to match the modest outfit.

Another crowd favorite was Miss Spain Noelia Freire, who sported a navy blue colored swimsuit and a glowing smile.

The most eye-catching and talked about participant was Miss China Li Zhenying, who stole the scene as she walked down the runway confidently in blue swimsuit with gold embroidery. She drew a lot of attention for her 'cameltoe' – a slang term used when women's private parts are lining a tightly fitting outfit. Despite the controversy, Miss China still looked stunning.

Also present were current-reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and Miss Universe Organization Vice President Shawn McClain.

Watch the full swimsuit presentation below:

The participants are set to visit Baguio and Davao on January 18 and 19 respectively after exploring Cebu, Boracay and Vigan.
