On Facebook, Joseph Israel Liban, consultant of GMA Public Affairs complained against the admins of VP Robredo’s Facebook page and wrote: “This is what happens when you appeal directly to the VP for help to your province which just happens to be outside Bicol: You get ignored by the admins of the site, you get a lecture about how LGUs work (never mind that Marinduquenos are starving now), you get shooed away and asked to bother the Duterte government instead (which we are also doing) and finally you get dismissed as a troll.”

Continuation of their exchange of words…

Liban remarked that there is no comprehensive data yet of the extent of the damage to Marinduque at the time when he posted his Facebook post.

Thee volume and type of aid the province receives from the national government is based on the data on the ground.

Hay.

Liban said that the public remain oblivious of the plight of the inhabitants of small islands in Marinduque.

In the Facebook page of the Office of the Vice President, Mr. Laban expressed his frustration against the admins of the page who ignored his pleas in behalf of the typhoon victims in Marinduque.

Meanwhile, a commenter asked Mr. Liban to clarify if the admins of the page who lectured him how LGU’s work, shooed him away, and dismissed him as a troll are VP Leni’s staff because” if that’s true,”  he said, “that’s really off!”

Mr. Liban replied: “Hay. I didnt say they were. The page admins ignored me altogether initially. Until I posted this.”

The GMA consultant also said he contacted the Facebook page of Sec. Judy Taguiwalo of the DSWD and got an assurance to act on his concern.

Three hours after Mr. Laban posted his complaints on Facebook, VP Leni took to Twitter, urging the public to donate for the typhoon victims in Marinduque.
