The facts that were not reported by the mainstream media is clearly visible on social media, the department heads of the various government agencies were working closely to help the relief efforts even without the media coverage.

Pres. Duterte personally gives aid to the victims of super typhoon Nina as he flew to the Bicol Region on Tuesday, December 27. From Davao City the President arrived in the provinces of Catanduanes and Camarines Sur in record time as he was even ahead of his counterpart who lives in Naga City but now enjoying her White Christmas celebration in New York.

Vice President draws flak from netizens because she was in the US while her bailiwick in Bicol was battered by the super typhoon. Her gestures of prioritizing her vacation compared to her constituents is a sign according to some netizens that she is not really serious on her government works as VP.
