The Saudi Arabian court finally announced the verdict for the four men who sexually abused a foreign woman in front of her husband and daughter. They were sentenced to a combined 52 years of imprisonment and 7,000 lashes.
According to reports, the rapists were three Saudi Arabian men and one Sudanese man. They broke into a house and tied the husband up with electric wire. They then repeatedly raped the man's wife in front of him and their daughter. They were also found guilty of stealing 10,000 Saudi Riyals and 8 mobile phones. They did this for a 2nd time before they got arrested. They eventually confessed to their crimes and the court in Jedda announced the verdict afterwards.
Two of the rapists will spend 15 years in prison and receive 1,500 lashes over the course of 30 sessions. The third rapist was sentenced to 5 years in prison and will also receive 1,500 lashes. The fourth rapist will spend 17 years in prison and receive 2,500 lashes within 50 sessions.
