Secretary Gina Lopez of the DENR added the following description on the viral video showing the damages brought about by irresponsible mining.
"Sharing with you a short video on what irresponsible mining has done to our islands and the suffering it has caused our people. My heart is one with all those who have been affected by the degradation of forests, the pollution of waters, the destruction of agricultural lands, etc. Please do know that your DENR is working its hardest everyday to help each and every one of you.
The video which was originally shared by Sec. Gina Lopez caught the attentions of some popular social media personality such as Thinking Pinoy, Sass Rogando Sasot and other prominent Pro-Duterte social media bloggers who shared the same video making it an instant hit on Facebook.
We encourage all Pro-Duterte supporters and all DDS members to share the video of Sec. Gina Lopez and try to react on the viral video so that it will have an engagement and will caught the attentions of the mainstream media.
