Kat Alano who admitted that she was a rape victim claimed on her Facebook account that she seek help from the Senator, but didn’t responded.
“When I contacted you and BESEECHED YOU AS A WOMAN AND A FILIPINA TO STAND UP FOR RAPE VICTIMS EVERYWHERE; YOU TURNED A BLIND EYE.” Kat Alano said on her Facebook post.
She is now urging the Senator to avoid using the women rights to protect herself from the controversies that she’s facing right now.
“And now you want the women of the Philippines to stand behind you? I STOOD FOR MY RIGHTS AND YOU TOOK NO NOTICE.” Kat Alano added.
The open-letter that Alano mentioned was posted 2 years ago, when Sen. Leila De Lima was still the Department of Justice Secretary.

Her post praised by her fans, believing that Leila De Lima must not use the gender card to protect herself from the Bilibid Drug Syndicate controversy.
